FurryCon 2009 - 18-20 September in Karlstad.
What is FurryCon?
Furrycon is a multipurpose convention between Furry Fandom and gaming convention, with some elements of Japanese pop culture.

Where will the convention be held, and when?
The Convention will be held in Karlstad, between 18 and 20 September 2009. Culture night occurs during this weekend, which means that people are in town and the shops are open later. The town center is just minutes walk distance away, so there are many chances to explore the city.

What can you do at the Convention?
At the convention there will be a market for those who want to come and sell their art / books / paintings / posters, etc., there will be videogames and craft, and there will be movies.
We have also focused more on role-playing, since many people requested it.
We got extra room with sofas and furniture in Sverok Cabinet in Karlstad, not even 100 meters from the convention. Here the role players can play their games undisturbed (can be a bit annoying if people have videogames in the room next door for example)
There will be a cafe at the convention, and there is an opportunity to buy lunch / dinner and sandwiches / sweets later in the evening.

Can you contribute something to the Convention?
Yes, you can. If you have videogames, board games, movies, or something even more juicy as a TV or gameconsole, then we are grateful for the support. It won't hurt if we have have more games than people can play.

Healthcare::
There will be medical staff on site, but do you have any allergy, injuries or illness, no matter how innocent it is, so we are grateful if this is mentioned in preorder so that we know this in advance.

Other:
If the Convention should the economy go together, we will give away one or a few hours of bowling, which is in the Entertainment Factory, located in the same building as Furrycon.
The Entertainment Factory is also Sweden's largest playland.
Fun Factory also has bands that play there and rave/night disco on Saturdays. More info about the band visiting during this weekend will be presented at the convent.
